I love this stunning stovetop tea kettle with cool mid-century (1940s) styling.  It has a sycamore wood handle and lid finial, it was made in Northampton, England.  The kettle is the rarest piece in the Picquot Ware range.

  • Designer:  Jean Picquot by Burrage and Boyd.
  • 9.5ʺW × 8.25ʺD × 7.5ʺH
  • It holds 56 oz.
  • The metal shine is average and it has a few bumps and marks to the metal work as can be seen in the photos.
  • The woodwork on the handle is very good, the woodwork on the lid knob is still intact but has an age related split in it.
  • It is clean inside but has some wear from decades of use
