I love this stunning stovetop tea kettle with cool mid-century (1940s) styling.  It has a sycamore wood handle and lid finial, it was made in Northampton, England.  The kettle is the rarest piece in the Picquot Ware range.

The metal shine is average and it has a few bumps and marks to the metal work as can be seen in the photos. 
The woodwork on the handle is very good, the woodwork on the lid knob is still intact but has an age related split in it.
It is clean inside but has some wear from decades of use
