A timeless example of 1950s craftsmanship, this tray blends Danish Modern aesthetics with American silverplate tradition, perfect for collectors and design lovers alike.  Three Crowns Silversmiths operated in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, from roughly 1946 to the mid‑1960s, specializing in mid-century silverplate and Scandinavian-inspired designs.

Their hallmark — three pointed crowns (two above, one below) can be found on the back of the tray.

The well-known Ingrid line, attributed to Royal Arden Hickman, launched around 1946, became a hallmark of their catalog through 1960.  Hickman’s vision was a Nordic‑minimalist, “Swedish‑looking, minimalist” aesthetic—lightweight, functional, and elegantly streamlined.

The celery tray features a beaded rim—a signature metalwork detail of the line.
