I would imagine a million uses for this darling (heavy!) natural marble bowl.  It has a lovely rounded side and lip and would look terrific on your desk as a paperweight.  Ring dish near the sink?  Cotton balls on your vanity sink?  An elevated vessel for your matchbook collection, by chance?
